1. Crop your picture. I use the free transform tool (ctrl t). Hold down shift or click the link at the top so it resizes evenly. Duplicate your base and set it to screen at 50% and filter > sharpen.

2. Add some selective coloring (layer > new adjustment layer > selective color)

3. Add a curves layer (layer > new adjustment layer > curves)
